Why this one
You cannot organise people whose contact details you do not have. The chairman has to keep this list current and give it to you on request.
Copy this and fill in the brackets
Subject: Request for current precinct chair roster Chairman [name], I am the precinct chair for Precinct [number]. Under the current RPT rules, the county chairman maintains a current list of Republican precinct chairmen and makes it available to any precinct chairman on request. Would you please send me the current list by email at your convenience? Email is fine and saves the county the copy cost. Thank you, [Your name], Precinct [number], [phone]
Three things that make it work
- Ask in writing. It creates a date and a record.
- Ask for email rather than paper, which costs reproduction fees.
- The rule gives the chairman seven business days to update it after a change.
