Elected Director for the State Commission on Judicial Conduct
The Director of the Texas State Commission on Judicial Conduct must be elected by the voters of Texas to ensure direct public accountability for the investigation and discipline of judges who violate the Texas Constitution, parental rights, and the best interests of children.
Note.
This reform implements RPT Rule No. 23 and upholds the 2024 RPT Platform’s mandates in Constitutional Issues (Preservation of Constitution and Judicial Overreach) by restoring Texas sovereignty over its judiciary and preventing unelected officials from shielding judicial misconduct that harms families.
