A Resolution Against Alien Land Ownership in Texas

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that we, Red River County Executive Committee call upon the State of Texas, shall implement the following measures:

• Prohibition on Land and Real Property Interest Acquisition and Divestiture/Forfeit:

• Aliens, enemy aliens, entities who are owned or controlled by aliens or enemy aliens, who are not legal permanent residents or citizens of the United States, are disallowed from owning, controlling, or acquiring an real property interest in Texas, including, but not limited to land, mineral rights, water rights, and other natural resources. This includes any partnership or corporation connected to foreign nations.

• Immediate divestiture and/or forfeiture of all real property interests owned or controlled by these entities.

• Review and Monitoring:

• A dedicated task force will review and monitor all real property transactions for compliance, ensuring that no interest in property, including mineral and water rights, and other natural resources are acquired by non-resident aliens.

• Critical Infrastructure Protection:

• Transactions involving any property type, including rights to minerals, water, or other natural resources near critical infrastructure, shall be strictly prohibited for these entities and individuals.

• Collaboration with Federal Authorities:

• Texas will collaborate with Federal Agencies to protect its land and resources.

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that this resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption, and all state branches and agencies are hence with demanded to implement these provisions, reflecting and reaffirming the guaranteed rights contained within the United States Constitution, Texas Constitution, and Republican Party of Texas Legislative Priorities.
